The Public Works Department provides a quality environment for the City of Girard and ensures that the City's roadways, streets and infrastructure are safe, clean, and attractive. The department is responsible for street repairs and upgrades, installation and removal of signage, vegetation growth and control, swimming pool maintenance, parks and recreation, pollution control, storm water management, wastewater management and snow removal.
