Prerequisites: iLife I & II (if taking iLife Series, otherwise: none)

What to bring: Videos, music or photos on CD. Participants will have access to a digital video camera, but it is recommended that you bring your own if you do not want to share. The Digital Camera must have FireWire capabilities with a FireWire cable. If you have an iBook or Powerbook with iLife 5, bring it.

Description: Learn how to plan movies, add text, narration, transitions and background music to your videos. iMovie is the latest version of the easy-to-use video capturing software that ships with all new Macs. Participants will gain a basic understanding of storyboarding and using iMovie, understand how to capture, edit, enhance, compress and share a digital video, and understand the different formats of exporting.
