"While I was working for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, I was involved in the hiring of Mat and worked closely with him for several years. I have always thought highly of him as an individual and of the quality of his work. Mat's creativity is wonderful, and he has a winsome way of expressing his creative thoughts in one-on-one interaction and in group settings. He is thoughtful, never too quick in his action, and purposeful in his work.

During my years of working with Mat, I found him to be a self-motivated worker, one who could balance the task list independently, without a great deal of supervisor engagement.
